Okay, I’m up to day 5 of the first 12 day routine. There are 12 different codes, and you’re supposed to do one each day for the “Quick Start” method. And that’s what I’m doing first off.
I think it’s a good way to get acquainted with using the healing codes. You can learn the hand positions as you go, and run through each of the different codes before concentrating on specific problems.
Today we have SEVERE weather. Lots and lots of rain and thunderstorms. Amazingly, it hasn’t seemed to bother me. In times past I’d be really achy and fatigued on days like this. Fibromyalgia

I’m sure by now you’ve heard the news not all fat is bad. There are some “good” fats that are essential to good health, which of course is why you should eat them! Here are some of those needed fatty acids…
DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) and EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid)
DHA and EPA are the most plentiful fatty acids found in the brain. They’re essential to memory, and it’s been found people with Alzheimer’s have low blood levels of these essential fatty acids.
An omega-3 fatty acid, DHA is found in cold water fish such as mackererl, sardines, salmon and herring. Egg yolks are another source of DHA.
Foods such as walnuts, leafy green vegetables and flaxseed contain alpha-linolenic acid, another omega-3 fatty acid. It can be converted by the body to the brain’s needed DHA and EPA.

People sometimes confuse fructose and high fructose corn syrup (HFCS), thinking they are both natural sweeteners. Corn refiners would like you to believe high fructose corn syrup is indeed a natural sweetener.
Well, it all depends on what you call natural.
Fructose vs. High Fructose Corn Syrup
Fructose is a natural sugar found in fruit. It occurs naturally; it’s an intrinsic part of fruit. There’s no debate there, fructose is natural.
High fructose corn syrup, on the other hand, is never found in nature. It may be found in everything from sodas and fruit drinks to condiments, salad dressings, baked goods, and even baby food, but it is not found in any unprocessed food.
Instead, high fructose corn syrup is a man-made product. It’s a highly processed ingredient made by using enzymes to treat starch extracted from corn. The Center for Science in the Public Interest and other groups categorically maintain that HFCS cannot be considered natural because its chemical bonds are broken and rearranged in the manufacturing process.
The FDA has not defined the term natural, so the debate rages on with the corn refiners on one side wanting to call high fructose

Hope everyone is enjoying some healthy drinks and a healthy breakfast!
I’m not typing too well, so it will have to be a short post today. I tried to give myself a little break – or maybe a BIG one – this past Friday by falling off a futon I was standing on. To make a long story as short as possible, I was trying to get rid of a spider on the ceiling, fell into a metal and plastic shelving unit and a full-length mirror, and busted both to pieces.

When I started looking into alternative healing methods, I started hearing about the Herxheimer Effect. I’d never heard of it before, but I knew what it was when it was explained to me.
See, we live on a little farm, and we raise sheep and goats. Well, when one of them gets noticeably sick, they’re in real trouble. First off, sheep especially don’t usually show visible signs of illness until they’re in a bad way. If they have an infection, and you can see they’re sick, that means it’s usually a really severe one. S0 when the antibiotics start working in their system, there’s going to be a massive die off and a lot of toxins released. Sometimes this is so bad that in their already weakened state, they die from the toxin overload.
In other words, they are starting to heal – the pathogens are being killed off – but the toxins released in the process are just too much for them to stand. The vets often give anti-inflammatory drugs to try and prevent that from happening.
What’s that got to do with people? Well, it’s the same sort of thing in people, and called the Herxhemier Effect, or a healing response, or healing crisis.
It boils down to the fact that many times, in the process of healing, you feel worse before you feel better.
